Divino Restaurant & Lounge

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. We came across this lovely restaurant after watching the sunset. It’s on the opposite side of the river from the touristy area, and the view is spectacular. However, the view is nothing compared to the impeccable, accommodating service from the most cheerful friendly servers with greatest senses of humour. And the food…oh the food… My taste buds were doing dances of happiness in my mouth. The next time I’m in Porto, I’m coming back.

This restaurant is the perfect spot that combine a beautiful view on Ribeira and a perfect meal. Further, the service is excellent. Everyone is very sympathetic and they want to make sure that everything is at your satisfaction. Eliana gave us a wonderful time. As our son tried for the first time a port wine there, she gave him another glass to compare the 10 years with the 20. It was very kind of her and for that, this dinner is in our top 3 in Porto. We surely recommend. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Best dining experience in Porto! We were in Porto last week for 4 nights. My wife is celiac and we found incredible gluten free food in Porto and especially delicious food at Divino! We started with cocktails on their terrace, a Porto Spritz and Gin & Tonic, enjoying the nice panoramic view of Porto. My wife had the truffle risotto and loved it! Oddly, you would think Risotto would always be made gluten free, but at restaurants that serve pasta they often use the same water they use to cook the pasta, to cook the risotto. My wife was so happy to find this risotto because she loves truffles and our hotel had a truffle risotto but it was not GF. I had the Wild, Single Line Caught Sea Bass and it was very delicious. I told my wife the mashed potatoes that came with my Sea Bass were The Best I Ever Had, even better than my father-in-laws which are pretty damn good. We had glasses of wine with our meals that were excellently paired by the staff, finished with two incredible desserts and a 30 year white port for my wife and a 50 year red port for me. The staff was very friendly, professional and service was outstanding! The manager came to our table at the end of our meal to check on our experience. The experience went beyond the food and as I said, it was our best dining experience in Porto!

Simply amazing! A hidden gem, Michelin star rated restaurant. Best meal we had in Porto. The food was divine. The view was spectacular. The service was impeccable. The staff truly made our night special. Make reservations, this place is definitely worth it!

A really nice lunch with an incredible view. The lunch menu was very reasonable at €17.50, and the selection of drinks was also good. A big thanks to all the staff, but particularly the waiter who was extremely helpful and friendly.

Wow, we had a great anniversary dinner here. Everything from food, wine, service was perfect. Even we had no reservation we felt being welcome. Our favourite octopus was the best we had in Portugal so far. Love the sponge cake - never had dessert like this. The view on the river is an extra for this place.

That was the best food that I had in Porto. I ordered the fish soup with the pastry on top; I was told to be careful when I took the pastry off as it was very hot, and the dish had amazing flavours. For the main, I ordered the Octopus, which was divine. The staff, Patricia and Eliana, were so lovely, and I even had the chance to thank Marco, the chef, in person. Unfortunately, it was my last evening so I couldn't come there again for lunchtime to enjoy the amazing view and their lunch menu. But the next time I will come to Porto I will go there again.

We chose the codfish dish, which was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The white wine recommendation paired beautifully with it, enhancing the flavors even more. What truly sets Divino apart is the stunning view. Overlooking the city while enjoying a meal adds a special touch to the experience, making it feel even more memorable. For the price, quality, and breathtaking scenery, this spot is an absolute 5-star choice for lunch in Porto. Highly recommend stopping by!
